All this on a shoestring budget… and that’s merely scratching the surface. As clearly shown in the above pictures, this is NOT a small house—nor is it ordinary by any stretch of the imagination. This is a custom Craftsman style 2700 square foot home with an attached 2 story garage. Of course, it’s not a Beverly Hills mansion, but It’s certainly safe to say that there’s no shortage of “wow factor” here.

The house also features a 1000 square foot second floor master suite fit for a king—including an enormous 11 x 11 foot walk in closet, a 220 square foot master bathroom fitted with his and hers sinks, a mammoth (unfinished) luxury shower with several tip-top-of-the-line Grohe fixtures and body sprays, quartz countertops, and an oversized Jacuzzi tub. The master suite also boasts a laundry room with LG front loaders, and an stunning loft that overlooks the great room.

We were also able to furnish the house with a magazine-spread-worthy kitchen—complete with 24 fully trimmed out maple cabinets, high-end hand-scraped laminate flooring, elegant full thickness 3cm Uba Tuba granite countertops, a beautiful 16 gauge undermounted stainless steel sink, an over-sized peninsula with sitting area, and an island with a built in gas range.

Should I stop now? Nah…

The house also features cathedral ceilings, the use of rich woods such as Douglas fir, redwood, oak, maple, southern yellow pine, and cedar—as well as amazing custom handcrafted mission style pillars on the house and garage. And wouldn’t you know we had enough spare cash lying around to install a drool worthy electrical and wiring set up, featuring a whole-house sound system fitted with in-wall speaker jacks and volume controls, and enough receptacles, ethernet connections, phone jacks, and dimmer switches to make a grown man cry.
